How do I start with Fiege NOW?

Your start with FIEGE NOW is very easy. During your first talks with our team, we will learn more about your eCommerce business by recording your requirements step by step. After this phase, during which all operational, technical, and legal questions have been clarified, we will start planning your onboarding. Our onboarding team will then ensure your smooth start with FIEGE NOW. After onboarding and the hypercare phase have been completed, our Customer Success Management will support you with the strategic advancement of your business and serves as your first point of contact for operational questions that arise during your day-to-day operations. How long does onboarding take?

How long onboarding will take depends on the respective requirements of your eCommerce business. When booking our starter package and using an existing shop plugin, such as Shopify, Shopware or WooCommerce, you will be able to go live in no time. The onboarding team will provide you with the exact planning for the project following kick-off.

Is it possible to integrate Shopify, Shopware, WooCommerce or other shop systems with FIEGE NOW?

Yes, you may use our free plugins to connect with leading shop systems such as Shopify, Shopware, WooCommerce, Descartes Pixi, JTL, BigCommerce or Xentral. Your preferred shop system is not listed? Simply send us an email and our team will look into the integration of that specific shop. Thanks to our FIEGE NOW APIs, you may integrate all Enterprise Resource Planning Systems or Order Management Systems with our Warehousel Management System. Which services does FIEGE NOW offer within Fulfillment?

While you focus on selling your products, we will take care of the rest – from incoming goods, to storage, order picking and packaging of your products, to returns management. FIEGE NOW offers a solid starter package for you. We are happy to work out a (multi-) carrier concept with you. You have the possibility to select from a range of shipping options (standard or express) and to add customised shipping services as needed. Does FIEGE NOW have minimum volume requirements that need to be met?

No, FIEGE NOW does not stipulate minimum quantities. You may start with us as from your first parcel.

Must I commit to a long contract term?

Our clients remain with us because they are satisfied, not because they have committed to a long contract term. At FIEGE NOW, you may cancel monthly at three months’ notice.

Where are FIEGE NOW’s locations that handle fulfilment?

FIEGE NOW currently has fulfilment facilities in Germany and Austria. Both locations are owner-operated warehouse facilities of FIEGE.

Which channels may I use to sell my products?

FIEGE NOW focuses on B2C fulfillment (Business-to-Consumer). However, FIEGE NOW can also handle B2B fulfillment (Business-to-Business). We ship your products to brick and mortar retailers or retailers such as Amazon, Zalando or ABOUT YOU.

What must I look out for when dropping off goods?

How you drop your products at our warehouse is laid down in our FIEGE NOW delivery guidelines. Feel free to send us an email for more details.

Which packaging materials may I use to drop off products?

Your products can be dropped off in containers, on pallets, or in boxes. If you have any questions, we are happy to help.

How do I communicate the arrival of my goods?

Notification must reach us a minimum two working days before the anticipated delivery time. For this, please send an email with your preferred delivery time to NOW-delivery@fiege.com. Our warehouse team will then touch base with you to further coordinate. On top of this, it is necessary to systemically notify us of each delivery using our interface or the CSV data upload.

How do I know if my goods have all been stored?

The myFIEGE Reporting module contains a feature called Goods Receipt Report which indicates or reconciles the items of which we were notified compared to the ones we stored for each delivery. This shows you at a glance whether deliveries are short or if there are overdeliveries. In the event of overdeliveries, our warehouse team creates a ticket event in the myFIEGE Operations Control module to pro-actively inform you.

How are my products being stored?

Goods are stored on shelving or pallet spaces. Storage fees depend on the respective monthly maximum of occupied spaces. Except for stored returns, an SKU is stored on shelving or a pallet space.

How does FIEGE NOW define an SKU?

SKU stands for Stock Keeping Unit. An SKU is an item’s registration number which clearly identifies it (for example: blue T-shirt in XS).

Do you take inventory?

Our stocktaking is ongoing. The cost of this is included in the storage costs. Additionally, you are free to request periodic stocktaking.

How are stock figures transmitted to the shop?

Once a night, stock numbers are transmitted to the shop. Further updates can be set up as needed.

Where can I view my current stock levels?

You may view your stock levels in real time under the myFIEGE Reporting module and export the figures as an Excel file.

How are orders transmitted?

Your orders are transmitted via the interface of your shop system, your Enterprise Resource Planning System, or your Order Management System to our Material Management System.

Where can I view the status of my order?

The status of any individual order can be viewed under the myFIEGE Order Flow module. Moreover, the myFIEGE Reporting module offers an Outbound Goods Report which indicates in real time the backlog of outstanding orders as well as orders that have already been shipped.

Is it possible to modify orders?

Orders may be modified before the Packed status has been activated in the myFIEGE portal. You may change the address for the order or cancel the order altogether in the Order Flow module.

Which parcel packaging does FIEGE NOW use?

FIEGE NOW offers environmentally friendly standard cardboard boxes (non-branded). We take charge of purchasing and the quality of packaging and consumables to take your products safely to your customers. Branded cardboard boxes showing your logo can be used on request.

Is it possible to use my own parcel packaging?

You may use your own packaging materials branded with your logo on request. Also, we can ship your items in their original product packaging. This saves money and you are doing a good thing for the environment. We will be happy to check your individual packaging concept on request.

Which documents are added to the parcel?

You will transmit all documents that are to accompany the parcel (delivery note, invoice, return slip) as a PDF file via the interface to our system. As an option, we will include a return label.

Is it possible to include marketing material?

On request, we are happy to include marketing material (flyers, booklets, etc.) with the parcels.

How is the return label provided?

We can include a return label with the parcel. Also, it can be retrieved via our transport portal.

How are returns processed?

When our warehouse receives a return, we conduct a detailed quantitative and qualitative inspection. The product is classified by ABS quality criteria. While processing the return, the returned item is initially posted as a B-category product, and in the following as an A-category or C-category product. A-category products are classed as available stock and are ready for resale. C-category products are classed as blocked stock. Items stored as blocked stock can be returned to you. Alternatively, you may instruct FIEGE to dispose of the items.

How are returns classed?

Returns are classed into three categories. A-category products are fully intact and can be returned to storage. B-category products can be resold after being reconditioned. C-category products are not fit for reconditioning and therefore are collected and returned to you or, on your request, disposed of by FIEGE.

Which reconditioning services for returns does FIEGE NOW offer?

Within the context of reconditioning returns at FIEGE NOW, standard services are available. This includes, for example, an olfactory inspection or an inspection for cleanliness and the removal of lint, threads, dust, stains, or other light staining. On request, FIEGE NOW also customises the reconditioning of returns. Please coordinate this with our team.

Is it possible to record the reasons for a return?

Yes, reasons for a return can be recorded on the return slip. With the help of our return reports under the myFIEGE Reporting modules, you may analyse the reasons for a return.

Where can I view the status of a return?

Whether an order was returned can be viewed in the myFIEGE Order Flow module. Moreover, in the myFIEGE Reporting module we offer Return Reports which will indicate in real time the stored return orders and returned items including reasons for their return, the original and new quality and number of days between shipping and processing of the return.

How are the repayments to my customers processed?

Next to processing a return, you will receive a confirmation of a return via the interface with all the relevant information based on which your payment system may initiate the reimbursement to your customers.

Which delivery services are available?

FIEGE NOW has a broad portfolio of delivery service providers. This includes DHL/Deutsche Post, Hermes, UPS, DPD and Post AT. Further providers can be added on request. Our team is happy to advise you on an optimum carrier set-up.

Is it possible to have a multi-carrier service?

Yes, it is possible to refer to a multi-carrier service. You may, for example, select different carriers for the defined shipping countries. We are happy to work out a multi-carrier concept with you.

Is it possible for me to bring my own contract with a delivery service on board?

You may bring your existing contract with your delivery service provider on board. To empower you to focus fully on your brand, FIEGE NOW will take care of managing your delivery service and your shipping services.

Who handles communication with the delivery service?

To empower you to focus fully on your brand, we will handle all communication with your delivery service providers.

Which shipping options are there?

We offer both standard and express shipping. Customised shipping services can be added optionally on request.

Is it possible to ship parcels climate neutrally?

Some of our shipping partners offer climate neutral shipping. This includes, for example, DHL GoGreen. Our team will gladly answer all your questions about the climate neutral shipment of your parcels. We look forward to your enquiry. Get started!

Which countries can I ship to?

We offer national shipping and shipping within the European Union. Further shipping destinations are available on request. Feel free to contact us for more information.

What is the cut-off time at FIEGE NOW?

The cut-off time depends on the FIEGE NOW fulfillment location and on the chosen carrier. Please contact us by email for the cut-off times that are relevant for you.

How long does it take for the delivery to arrive?

Delivery times depend on the chosen delivery service and their service as well as the parcel’s destination. Delivery times in Germany are between 1 and 2 days. Send us an email to find out more about our shipping conditions.

How may I find out more about the shipping status of my parcels?

The myFIEGE Order Flow feature gives you information about the status of your order – from transmitting the order to drop off at the end customer.

What happens when a parcel is damaged or lost in transit?

FIEGE NOW handles the Carrier Claims Management for you. The communication on Claims is under the myFIEGE Operations Control module.

Which IT systems can be integrated at FIEGE NOW?

You can use our free plugins to connect with leading shop systems, such as Shopify, Shopware, WooCommerce, Descartes Pixi, JTL, BigCommerce or Xentral. Your preferred shop system is not listed? How does testing work at FIEGE NOW?

In the context of integrating your shop system, Enterprise Resource Planning System or Order Management System, you may simply test the communication between your system and our Warehouse Management System with our FIEGE NOW Sandbox. Our FIEGE NOW Sandbox simulates the communication with our Warehouse Management System and helps you to test our messaging interface. Communication relies on REST-based APIs in JSON format.

Where are the fulfillment locations of FIEGE NOW located in Germany?

FIEGE NOW currently has one fulfillment facility in Germany. This is our multi-user centre in Apfelstädt near Erfurt.

What are the opening hours at the warehouse location?

The opening hours depend on the FIEGE NOW fulfillment location. The FIEGE multi-user centre in Apfelstädt, Germany is open from Monday through to Friday from 05:30 am to 11:30 pm. Shift operations are arranged within this timeframe in accordance with the respective Service Level Agreements. Following agreement, a shift may also be scheduled for a Saturday. The warehouse is closed on national holidays as well as regional holidays of the Land of Thuringia.

What is the cut-off time at FIEGE NOW?

The cut-off time depends on the FIEGE NOW fulfillment location and on the chosen carrier. The cut-off time for orders at our FIEGE multi-user centre in Apfelstädt, Germany is 04:00 pm. DHL collects parcels at 01:00 pm as well as 06:00 pm. Please contact us by email to receive the cut-off times that are relevant.

Which products may be stored and shipped?

A broad portfolio of products from many lines of business, such as Fashion & Lifestyle, Home & Living, Consumer Electronics, Food & Nutrition and more may be stored and shipped by FIEGE NOW. Please contact our team if you require further information.

Is it possible to store and send bulky items?

FIEGE NOW defines an item as bulky if one or multiple sides of an article exceed/s the specified dimensions of 60x40x40 cm (LxWxH) and/or weighs more than 5kg. Only CEP-compatible items may be stored and shipped. Please contact our team if you have questions regarding the maximum dimensions and weight limits of the carriers.

Is it possible to store and send refrigerated goods/ perishables?

Currently, FIEGE NOW cannot store or ship goods that require refrigeration or which are perishable.

Is it possible to store hanging garments?

Hanging garments may only be stored with FIEGE NOW following prior agreement. On principle, fashion items are stored flat on shelving or on a pallet.

Is it possible to store and send hazardous goods?

Please contact our team for them to review your hazardous goods. We will need the dangerous goods class as well as the maximum storage volume per hazardous good. Please also forward the respective safety data sheet to us.

Where are the fulfillment locations of FIEGE NOW located in Austria?

FIEGE NOW currently has one fulfillment facility in Austria. This is our multi-user centre in Vienna.

What are the opening hours at the warehouse location?

The opening hours depend on the FIEGE NOW fulfilment location. The FIEGE multi-user centre in Vienna, Austria is open from Monday through to Friday from 06:00 am to 08:00 pm. Shift operations are arranged within this timeframe in accordance with the respective Service Level Agreements. Following agreement, a shift may also be scheduled for a Saturday. The warehouse is closed on national holidays as well as regional holidays of the Federal State of Vienna.

What is the cut-off time at FIEGE NOW?

The cut-off time depends on the FIEGE NOW fulfillment location and on the chosen carrier. The cut-off time for orders at our FIEGE multi-user centre in Vienna, Austria is 02:30 pm. DPD collects parcels at 04:30 pm. Please contact us by email for the cut-off times that are relevant for you.

Which products may be stored and shipped?
